An AI-Powered Automated Process Management Model Will Be Developed with the Support of Our University

The project titled “SmartBPM: AI-Powered Automated Process Management” of İLETİŞİM BİLGİSAYAR YAZILIM SİSTEMLERİ İHR. İTH.SAN. VE TİC. A.Ş., a company operating in Bursa, has successfully received support under the TÜBİTAK 1501 Industrial R&D Projects Support Program. The project will be advised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Metin BİLGİN from the Computer Engineering Department. The aim of the project is to automate the manual and repetitive process designs of organizations, create forms and workflows faster and without errors, intelligently design validation rules, and implement voice/natural language commands with a user-friendly experience by adding an AI-based layer to the company's existing BPM platform. In this way, corporate memory (old form definitions, approval mechanisms, validation examples, etc.) will be actively utilized, the rate of BPM usage across departments will increase, the IT team's repetitive workload will decrease, and process management will become much faster, more flexible, and more traceable.
