The Global Sustainable Development Congress 2025 was hosted in Istanbul, Türkiye, for the first time this year. The congress brought together representatives from 110 countries for four days under the overarching theme of sustainability.

Topics such as climate change, energy transition, and sustainability were explored alongside subjects like electric vehicles and green mobility, enriched by contributions from participants across diverse sectors.

Associate Professor Yasemin KAYA, attending on behalf of our university, briefed attendees on the latest developments in electric-vehicle technologies and seized the opportunity to showcase sustainability initiatives on an international stage.

The sessions and panels held throughout the congress once again underscored the pivotal role that higher-education institutions play in shaping a sustainable future.
