The Faculty of Engineering of Bursa Uludağ University carried out a working visit to PILOTCAR, one of the leading companies in the electric service vehicles sector, in line with its goals of developing and strengthening university-industry cooperation.

The delegation was led by Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Adem AKPINAR and included Head of the Department of Automotive Engineering Prof. Dr. Gökhan SEVİLGEN, Vice Head of the Department of Automotive Engineering Dr. Lecturer Emre BULUT, and Automotive Engineering faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emre İsa ALBAK. The delegation was hosted by PILOTCAR R&D Director Buğra CEYHAN and Deputy R&D Director Fatih Mehmethan NAVGASIN.

The visit began with a factory tour, during which PILOTCAR's production facilities and its 15-member Design Center were examined on site. Following the tour, a meeting was held to discuss potential collaborations, including joint scientific R&D projects, internship and capstone project opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as possible contributions to educational processes.

It was emphasized that PILOTCAR, which exports to many countries around the world and is the domestic market leader in its field, employs a high proportion of Bursa Uludağ University graduates, underlining the strong existing ties between the two institutions. This productive meeting is expected to turn into concrete projects in the upcoming period.
