The results of the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings: Europe 2026 have been announced. For the first time, our University has been included in the rankings, placing 54th in Europe within the Western Asia sub-region cluster, and in the 601–650 band across Europe overall.
The rankings include 958 higher education institutions from 42 countries/regions, among which 103 are Turkish universities. Bursa Uludağ University is positioned in the upper-middle group among Turkish universities listed in QS Europe 2026 and has secured a stable and consistent place among universities representing Türkiye in international rankings within the national academic ecosystem.
The QS Europe ranking methodology evaluates universities across Europe and within sub-regional clusters based on 12 indicators grouped under the following categories: research impact (45%), employability outcomes (20%), global engagement (25%), learning experience (5%), and sustainability (5%). In line with the Higher Education 2030 Vision, we believe that our University will rise to even higher positions through increasing internationally co-authored and high-impact publications, standardizing sustainability and social impact data, and strengthening graduate and employer feedback mechanisms.
We would like to thank all our internal and external stakeholders who contributed to this achievement.
