In today's world, the rapid changes in science and technology, the evolving needs of individuals and society, and the innovations and developments in learning and teaching theories and approaches have directly influenced the roles expected of individuals. This transformation necessitates the cultivation of individuals who can produce knowledge, use it functionally in life, solve problems, think critically, be entrepreneurial and decisive, possess communication skills, empathize, and contribute to society and culture. The increasing demand for qualified teachers in today's conditions undoubtedly affects the training of Science Teachers as well. For this purpose, our department aims to train Science Teachers who can follow developments with a scientific perspective, question and value research, and transform the knowledge and experiences they acquire into effective pedagogical products, thanks to our competent academic staff and technology-application-focused infrastructure.
