CULTURE, ART, SPORTS AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES COMMUNITY

OUR FOUNDATION PURPOSE:

Our university students will develop their physical and mental health, personalities and activities in the fields of culture, art, sports and social activities, and organize studies that will enable them to evaluate their free time effectively and usefully. In addition, the community aims to increase students' social responsibility awareness, develop social interaction and ensure urban and cultural integration by organizing projects and events in social and cultural fields.

FIELDS OF ACTIVITY:

Working groups have been formed to carry out all culture, art, sports and social activities to be organized within the scope of the community. The fields of activity and activities of the working groups formed within this scope:

ACTIVITIES OF THE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY PROJECT WORKING GROUP

Our Establishment Purpose:

The working group, whose main objectives are to increase social responsibility awareness, develop social interaction, and ensure urban and cultural integration, produces and implements projects within this scope.

2008-2009 Academic Year Activities:

1- Activities for the School for the Disabled:

-A visit was made to the School for the Mentally Disabled on April 20, 2009 during the National Sovereignty and Children's Week. During this visit, our working group members presented gifts they obtained with their own means together with the students of the Child Development Program and spent a nice day together playing games.

2- Activities for Nursing Homes:

a- Visit to Nursing Home on Mother’s Day:

Our working group members visited İnegöl Nursing Home on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 13:45 for Mother’s Day. 

b- Visit to Nursing Home on Father’s Day:

Our working group members visited İnegöl Nursing Home on June 12, 2009 for Father’s Day.

3- Activities to be Conducted within the Scope of “Our Village” Project:

Within the scope of this project; 

a- ALIBEY VILLAGE was determined as the working area in 2009.

b- Our Working Group members started an aid campaign in our school.

As part of the aid campaign, stationery, second-hand clothes, books, bags, toys, shoes, etc. were collected.

c- A preliminary visit was made to ALİBEY VILLAGE. 

d- The collected stationery, books, bags, toys etc. were taken to Alibey Village Primary School by our students on April 21, 2009 during the National Sovereignty and Children's Week and distributed. 

A visit was organized on June 9, 2009 to distribute the collected items to the people of Alibey Village within the scope of the e-aid campaign.

4- Activities to be Carried Out Within the Scope of Our School:

A library volunteer work group was formed and a weekly work plan was prepared. Our students helped organize our school library on the day and time specified within the weekly work plan.

2009-2010 Academic Year Activities:

1- Visit to Nursing Home on Mother's Day:

Our work group members visited İnegöl Nursing Home on May 7, 2010 due to Mother's Day.


2- Activities Conducted Within the Scope of “Our Village” Project:

Within the scope of this project; 

a- MEZİT VILLAGE was determined as the work area in 2010.

b- Our Working Group members started an aid campaign in our school.

Within the scope of the aid campaign, stationery, second-hand clothes, books, bags, toys, shoes, etc. were collected. 

c- A preliminary visit was made to MEZİT VILLAGE. 

d- The collected stationery, books, bags, toys, shoes, etc. were taken to Mezit Village Primary School by our students on May 21, 2010 during “Youth Week” and distributed to the Primary School students and the people of Mezit Village.

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING GROUP

OUR PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHMENT:

To raise awareness among our college students about the 21st century world and environmental problems, to produce solutions to these problems together, and to help them raise individuals who are socially responsible towards their environment. To produce and implement projects on these issues.

2008-2009 Academic Year Activities:

The ÇEKİRDEK MOVEMENT project was carried out to support the Tema Foundation.

As part of the traditional spring festival organized by İnegöl Vocational School, we set up a stand at the 3rd Spring Festival as the Environment Working Group. Saplings were sold to create the Forest of our Environment Working Group at the Spring Festival.

Informative posters about recycling were hung and forms were distributed.

We used the garbage bins and saplings allocated by İnegöl Municipality for the garden arrangement of our school together with the municipality's garden arrangement team.
