History

Our college was established in 1995 in accordance with Article 7/d-2 of Law No. 2547, amended by Law No. 2880, to meet the qualified intermediate manpower of the regional industry in İnegöl, and started education in the 1995-1996 academic year. With the allocation of the tobacco warehouse belonging to the Ministry of Monopoly on Atatürk Boulevard to Uludağ University, it started education at the associate degree level with 33 students and 2 programs, namely Furniture and Decoration and Fashion and Apparel, in the building with a closed area of ​​4500 m².

A significant improvement was achieved in the physical capacity of our college in 2006 with the completion of the renovation processes of the İnegöl Tekel Match Factory, which was transferred to Uludağ University by the privatization administration for use in educational services, with an area of ​​33,146 m². In addition, on 30.11.2010, a 10,000 m² area belonging to Tekel was allocated to our college and with 5 barracks, a total of 4970 m2 of closed area, it reached 43,146 m². However, in 2013, 6200 m² of area was transferred to the Credit and Dormitories Institution for a girls' dormitory; our current campus area is 36,946 m².


As a result of the improvements in the physical capacity of our college, where university and industry cooperation is effectively implemented, and the discussions with the relevant sectors and the evaluation of the needs of the regional industry, it was concluded that it was necessary to open new programs and establish laboratories and workshops for application purposes in our current programs.


In our college; Library, Seminar Hall, Dining Hall, 1000 m2 Application Workshop for the Machinery Program, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Laboratory, 2 Technical Drawing Classrooms, 1000 m2 production activity workshop for the Furniture and Decoration Program, Garment Workshop for the Textile Technology Program, Child Development Activity Classroom for the Child Development Program, 4 Computer Laboratories where different package program trainings used in the sector for Social and Technical programs are given, 2 Simulation Laboratories for the First and Emergency Aid Program, 2 Laboratories for the Electricity Program and 18 classrooms are available.

In the 2022-2023 Academic Year, in Formal Education; Furniture and Decoration, Textile Technology, Machinery, Electricity, Construction Technology, Foreign Trade, Accounting and Tax Applications, Business Management, Marketing, Child Development, First and Emergency Aid Programs with a total of 11 programs with 1774 students and in Second Education; It continues education with 2426 students in 15 programs, 652 of which are in 4 programs including Foreign Trade, Accounting and Tax Applications, Business Management, Child Development.
