What is Farabi Exchange Programme?
Farabi Exchange Programme is a programme that allows the exchange of students at associate, bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels of universities in Turkey that have signed a protocol with each other. The scope of the exchange is limited to mutually available programmes. Students of the Department of Finance can continue their education for one (Fall) or two (Fall and Spring) semesters in the Department of Finance of the University, with which we have an agreement within the programme's scope. Within the scholarship student quota determined by YÖK, students who benefit from the programme are also provided with a scholarship payment. As a Farabi student, you can benefit from different cultural and social opportunities by studying for one or two semesters in one of the Finance Departments of other Universities.
General Application Requirements
The programme can be applied once a year. Applications are made to the university by the calendar determined by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). The application period is usually between 1 March and 15 March. Before this date, each university's Farabi Institutional Coordination Office makes an ‘outgoing exchange student application announcement’ to invite its students to apply. Applications received in early March are for the following academic year's autumn or autumn and spring semesters. According to the legislation, the conditions required to benefit from the Programme can be stated as follows:
