Double Major and Minor Programme (Student)

Double Major (DMP) is a programme that allows students who meet the success requirements and other conditions to take courses simultaneously from two diploma programmes of the same higher education institution and receive two separate diplomas. For example, a student in the Department of Finance can take courses from the Faculty of Law and receive a diploma through this programme. A student of the Faculty of Law can also take classes from the Department of Finance and receive a diploma from the Department of Finance. The programmes in which our students can do DMP may vary yearly.

Minor is a programme that enables students enrolled in a diploma programme to obtain a document (minor certificate) that does not replace a diploma by taking a limited number of courses on a specific subject within the scope of another diploma programme within the same higher education institution, provided that they meet the prescribed conditions.

The requirements, application dates, and quotas for Double Major and Minor programmes are announced on the university website on specific dates. As an example, the Announcement of our University's Student Affairs Department dated 24 June 2022 titled Double Major and Minor Program Quotas and Application Requirements (2022-2023 Academic Year Fall Semester) can be consulted (Please note that there may be changes from year to year).
