The Department of Public Finance undergraduate programme has a strong education plan for job opportunities in both public and private sectors. The targeted achievements of our graduates who complete four years of undergraduate education are as follows:
1. To be able to understand the basic concepts and theoretical knowledge in the field of finance and to be able to master their details.
2. To be able to have and use the knowledge of finance, law, economics, public administration, business administration, accounting, which are sought in qualified personnel needed by the public and private sectors.
3. To be able to analyse and evaluate the theoretical knowledge in the field of finance and to produce solutions.
4. To be able to take responsibility in studies related to the field of finance, plan them and carry them out independently.
5. To be able to produce and share alternative solutions in the field of finance with the awareness of lifelong learning and enquiry.
6. To be able to evaluate the information obtained in the learning process with cause-effect relationships; to be able to predict where, when and why information will be needed.
7. To be able to transform and share the knowledge and practices related to the field of finance into activities in team work.
8. To have Turkish written and oral communication competence; to be able to use a foreign language at a level to communicate in the field.
9. To be aware of social, scientific and professional ethical values, to be open to change and innovation.
10. To be able to put forward and develop their views on current financial issues and use them in interpreting events.
