The quotas and entrance requirements of the Master's Programme with Thesis in the Department of Public Finance are determined by the proposal of the Department Board, the decision of the Bursa Uludağ University Social Sciences Institute Board and the approval of the Senate, as in other programmes. According to the current regulations, the quotas of master's and doctoral programmes to be accepted by the institutes, the documents required for application and registration, examination and registration dates, and other issues are announced on the university's web page. Applications are made only electronically to the Institute of Social Sciences. The original documents or a copy approved by the Institute are accepted for final registration.
The prerequisites and process required for application to the Master's programme of the Department of Public Finance in the 2024-2025 Academic Year Fall Term (It should be taken into consideration that the conditions and process may change from year to year):
1- To graduate from Finance, Business Administration, Economics Department and Faculty of Law.
2- Undergraduate Graduation General Academic Grade Point Average (GPA) must be at least 2.50 out of 4
3- To have at least 55 points from ALES (Equal Weight)
Candidates whose applications are valid due to the preliminary evaluation made by B.U.Ü. Institute of Social Sciences is ranked by considering the ALES score and graduation grade point average (ALES 50% + GANO 50%), and a certain number of candidates are called for scientific evaluation exams.
Candidates who take the Written Science Examination and, if it is foreseen, the Interview Examination receive a grade out of 100 points from the scientific evaluation. As a result, candidates who take these exams are ranked according to their general success scores by adding 50% of ALES + 20% of GPA + 30% of Scientific Evaluation. Those with a score below 65 are considered unsuccessful. Those scoring 65 and above, starting from the highest score, are considered successful and entitled to enter the Master's Programme in the Department of Public Finance.
