Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Fine Arts Department of Performing Arts senior class students performed the play "Roberto Zucco", written by French writer Bernard Maria Koltes, as the graduation play of the 2023-2024 academic year.
Based on the life of serial killer Roberto Succo, the play tells the story of the heroization of evil in an evil world. In the project where Bachelor's Degree IV students of the Department of Performing Arts worked together, Drama Writing and Dramaturgy Art Major Branch students took on duties such as dramaturge, assistant and supporting actor, while Acting Art Major Branch students appeared before the audience with a high-effort performance.
Directed by Bursa State Theater artist and contracted lecturer Ali Bircan Teke, music by Bursa City Theater artist and contracted lecturer Murat Liman, and composed by Department of Performing Arts faculty member Prof. Dr. Ayhan Helvacı's play "Roberto Zucco", choreographed by Ezgi Eneç, lighting design by Sinan Mahçup, and decor design by Hamza Berber, premiered at Ahmet Vefik Paşa Bursa State Theater on Sunday, April 21 at 20:30. At the end of the play, which met with the audience free of charge, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Ali Sait Liman congratulated everyone who contributed to the game and presented them with a certificate of appreciation in memory of the day.
After the premiere, art lovers will have the opportunity to watch the play at Bursa Tayyare Cultural Center on April 24, at the Istanbul City Theater Young Days Festival on May 19, and in Ankara as part of the Bilkent University International Theater Festival in the last week of June.
