Bursa Uludag University (BUU) has taken an important step within the scope of internationalization efforts and established an “International Academic Advisory Board”. The Advisory Board, consisting of scientists from the world's leading universities, held its first meeting hosted by BUU.
BUU International Academic Advisory Board, which was established to provide high-level support to the university's education, research and development activities, started its work. The board, consisting of world-renowned experts, held its first meeting. Rector Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz madea short opening speech at the meeting and emphasized that they believe that the board will make extremely valuable contributions to the internationalization goals of the university. Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz stated that they will carry out studies in line with the suggestions to be presented by the board in order for BUU to take a more effective role in the international arena; “For the first time in our half-century history of education and training, we have established a board on Internationalization. With the meeting we held today, we have started the work of our board. We are making a special effort on Internationalization in line with the goals set by the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education. We have included well-known names working at the world's leading universities in our board. We would like to express our gratitude to our esteemed academics for taking part in this board. We will work in cooperation and make our university much more visible in the international arena. We will sign special projects with higher education institutions around the world, especially with the universities of our professors. I wish that our International Academic Advisory Board will be beneficial for our university, academic community and our country.”
The meeting continued with a presentation by the Coordinator of International Academic Relations and ended with a question and answer session and an exchange of views. The university administration then organized a comprehensive trip to Bursa for the board members.

The International Academic Advisory Board, established by BUU administration for the first time in the university's history, includes members from leading universities around the world working in different fields.
