COOPERATION BETWEEN UNIVERSITY AND INDUSTRY

Bursa Uludağ University (BUÜ) continues the cooperation agreements with TÜBİTAK 2244 Industry Doctorate Program. Thanks to the protocol signed with Evinoks, which provides service on kitchen service equipment, a new scientific study area was prepared for 3 doctoral students.

BUU Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Saim Kılavuz and Evinoks Servis Equipment Cor. Deputy General Manager Barış Koyaş signed the protocol which include a total of 3 PhD students, 2 of which are in the faculty of mechanical engineering and 1 in the Faculty of Architecture. They will be able to take part in the projects to be carried out within the company. According to the content of the agreement; students, who will receive a monthly salary of 4 thousand 500 TL during their doctoral education, will have the opportunity to work in the company for 3 more years after their graduation.

WE APPLY "WIN-WIN" APPROACH

Speaking at the protocol signing ceremony, BUU Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Saim Kilavuz pointed out that, thanks to the project implemented by TUBITAK, the practical mind in the private sector was combined with the theoretical wisdom in universities. Emphasizing that the state, universities and companies really benefit with the program, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Saim  Kılavuz; “We focused on this program in 2018, 2019 and 2020 call periods. We have come a long way and we plan to continue in the same way from now on. We believe that our state, universities and companies act as a special project with a win-win approach. I wish good luck for all of us. I hope we will continue to work together and produce for our nation from now on ”.
