HEALTH SERVICE TO 30,000 THOUSAND PEOPLE IN 1 YEAR
Speaking at the program, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Saim Kılavuz emphasized that the center has been operating for about a year, but they could not hold an official opening ceremony due to the pandemic. Underlining that they provided a total of 30,000 patients with various preventive and curative health services such as examination, vaccination and follow-up in a period of about 1 year, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Saim Kılavuz emphasized that the research assistants working in the Department of Family Medicine can receive a much higher quality education service at the center. He added that “Our research assistants are trained in the best way at our University and Hospital. However, being intertwined with the public, getting to know the field, being a part of the health service, and participating in research activities lead to the training of better equipped family medicine specialists. In addition, our medical faculty students do their family medicine practice internships during the education process here. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the emergence of this service. I wish our center to be beneficial to our city, university and people.”
