Bursa Uludag University (BUU) Iznik Vocational School held a graduation ceremony for the students who were entitled to receive a diploma. Students had the joy of throwing caps together after the pandemic process.
Iznik District Governor Recai Karal, Mayor Kağan Mehmet Usta, BUÜ Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz, Vocational Schools Coordinator Prof. Dr. Çağatan Taşkın, Director of Iznik Vocational School Prof. Dr. Hasan Basri Öcalan, District Police Chief Mithat Öztaş, District Gendarmerie Commander Tuncay Doğan, academics, representatives of non-governmental organizations, graduate students and their families attended.
After the moment of silence and the National Anthem, on behalf of the graduate students, Tülay Koyuncu, the student of the Ceramics, Glass and Tile Making Program said : "While our dream was to teach face-to-face with our very valuable teachers, I would like to thank my valuable teachers who could not receive education due to the Covid-19 epidemic, who shot videos alone in the workshop and showed great efforts in online courses."
District Governor Recai Karal, on the other hand, emphasized the importance of learning in his speech and stated that he is also a student and there is no age limit for education. Karal congratulated the graduating students in his speech, emphasizing that they are glorious for raising valuable children to parents.
