Bursa Uludağ University (BUÜ), which participated in the Artificial Intelligence in Health Contest to be held within the scope of TEKNOFEST, the world's largest aviation, space and technology festival, with a total of 8 teams, successfully passed the first stages as a result of the preliminary reports presented.
Within the scope of TEKNOFEST 2021 Artificial Intelligence in Health Competition, the scores and rankings of the teams from the Preliminary Design reports have been officially announced. 8 teams from BUU Engineering Faculty Computer Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Departments and Medical Faculty students, which were established interdisciplinary, applied under the consultancy of faculty members. All 8 teams passed the first stage and became one of the 147 successful teams.
According to the results of the first stage of the competition, among the 147 teams that passed the first stage among 229 competing teams and qualified to continue the competition, the teams consisting of BUÜ students took part in the first 15 with 2 teams, 4 in the top 40, 6 in the top 100 and with a total of 8 teams. passed successfully. In the competition held for the first time in this category, the outstanding achievements of BUU students also pleased the University administration and gave hope for the future.
