The Academic General Assembly Meeting of our Faculty was held on 11.02.2022 in the Rectorate B Hall With the participation of Our University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Saim KILAVUZ and Vice-Rectors, Prof. Dr. İrfan KIRISTIOĞLU, Prof. Dr. Adem DOĞANGÜN, and Prof. Dr.  Ferudun YILMAZ.

The Academic Board Meeting started with our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Halil SAĞLAM's thank-you speeches. It continued with an informative presentation, focused on the studies carried out during the academic year, R&D activities, clinical treatment services, improvements in education for students and academic staff, academic studies of faculty members, our superiorities, and current risks.

Providing information about the latest situation regarding the construction of the Faculty of Dentistry building planned to be built on the campus, Prof. Dr. Halil SAĞLAM stated that the groundbreaking activity would take place in a short time at the point reached, and thanked the senior management and those who contributed to their support in this sense.

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Saim KILAVUZ, evaluated our faculty's ongoing and planned studies after the presentation. He expressed that the senior management will give all kinds of support for the academic and administrative development of the Faculty of Dentistry and that they will find every effort to increase the quality of scientific studies valuable. In addition, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Saim KILAVUZ thanked all academic and administrative staff for their devoted work.

Academic General Assembly Meeting was ended with dressing into robes to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülçin TEZCAN and Assoc. Prof. Dr.  Ezgi DOĞANAY YILDIZ due to their assignation to the Associate Professor position. In addition, the Certificates of Appreciation were presented to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülçin TEZCAN and Assist. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Ceren ÇELİK for their studies published in SCI-indexed Q1 journals and to the members of the Web Site Commission responsible for the preparation and updating of the Turkish - English website.
