At the end of the 2022-2023 Academic Year, our faculty held a graduation ceremony with wide participation for the students who were entitled to receive their diploma. Memorial boxes were distributed to those who attended the ceremony.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Rector Prof. Drawing on the sixth time that students who have been educated in the last 4 years have to take online education for some years due to pandemic, earthquake and similar problems, Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yilmaz; “It has once again demonstrated the importance of agriculture and food throughout the crises we have been through. Our Faculty of Agriculture has a distinguished place among the equivalent faculties in Turkey. It has a special place with its strong teaching staff and high-level education opportunities. Dear parents, the map can feel congratulations for graduating from such a faculty. At the same time, our University is among 23 Research Universities. Our young engineers are graduating from such a talented university and faculty.”

THE IMPORTANCE OF AGRICULTURE IS MORE UNDERSTANDING TODAY

Rector Yılmaz, emphasizing that agricultural production is perceived as lagging behind with the industry coming to the fore and the service sector getting stronger from time to time; “Operating agriculture with its main features can continue to be located in a very central place, if not in some way. We expect success in the future for our young engineers who will hopefully guide Turkey's agricultural policy from now on. I would also like to thank our families who devotedly try to educate their children. Let your bets be open. May Allah make your children among those who run ahead in the race to serve the country and humanity.

NUMBER OF GRADUATES IS APPROXIMATELY TO 10 THOUSAND

Our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. İlhan Turgut announced the 39th Term graduates as the Faculty. Prof. Dr., who made the sky drawings of 9 courses that they will continue to provide in the Faculty, which started education in 1981. Dr. Ilhan Turgut; “We have 127 teaching activities and 37 administrative staff, of which 104 are faculty members. It includes undergraduate education. Winning the honor of saying goodbye to the new lives of 256 of our students. Our Faculty, which still has 2334 students, has trained 9192 engineers so far. We had 200 graduates from 28 countries. I would also like to thank the participants who provided valuable training to our graduates and their families. Our young engineers have great responsibilities in the production of healthy and high quality food. Each of them found a celebration of success in their new life.

After the opening speeches, gifts were given to the user. After a plaque was nailed to the age log and the commemorative documents were distributed, the graduation ended with caps thrown together.
