"COOPERATION IN EDUCATION" PROTOCOL SIGNED WITH BURTOM

Thanks to the cooperation protocol in the training between Bursa Uludağ University (BUU) Vocational School of Health Services and Bursa Burtom Health Group Management, Medical Imaging Techniques Program students will be able to do their internship and practice courses within Burtom.

BUU administration, which makes serious investments every year to increase the quality of education, continues to take steps to prepare its students for post-graduation in the best way possible. The University administration, which wants to send off the students studying in vocational schools in a way that is ready for business life, is increasing the number of collaborations it has made with sector representatives day by day for young people to gain experience. Finally, a special agreement was implemented between the Vocational School of Health Services and Bursa Burtom Health Group. According to the cooperation protocol in the education between the institutions, the 1st and 2nd-year students who continue their education in the SHMYO Medical Imaging Techniques program will be able to take internship and application courses within the company to enable them to develop their professional knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors, to adapt to business life, to grow up in an actual service environment, and to get to know the facilities, tools, and equipment that are not available in the school.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE GAIN

Speaking at the protocol signing ceremony, BUU Rector Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz emphasized that since the first day they took office, they have taken steps to improve relations with the business world to increase the quality of education and to enable young people to gain professional experience. Pointing out that the Vocational School of Health Services has serious equipment in this sense, Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz said, "With the efforts and initiatives of our School Director, Prof. Dr. Sinan Çavun, we signed cooperation protocols in different companies. Our students, who receive health sector training, have no problems with professional experience. The protocols we have made with companies are instrumental in opening doors for our students in terms of internship and application courses. We would also like to thank the managers of Burtom Health Group for their valuable contributions. We hope that our cooperation will expand even more. May the protocol be beneficial for all of us."

Bursa BURTOM Health Group Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Erol Kılıç, stated that he believes cooperation will bring mutual benefits. Stating that they are working closely with nearly 35 hospitals across Türkiye, Dr. Erol Kılıç said, "We do around 200.000 examinations in a month. Our work with the state, city, and private centers continues uninterruptedly. The number of our staff has reached 900. We also provide medical imaging services in public hospitals in Bursa and its districts. We have serious equipment and experience. I am also a graduate of Bursa Uludağ University. That's why I feel a sense of belonging to this university. We hire most of your graduates. We always try to help the graduates who come from here. Thanks to our cooperation, young people will have a good opportunity for education. We also believe that we can carry out more comprehensive studies together."

The Director of the Vocational School of Health Services, Prof. Dr. Sinan Çavun, said that the signed protocol is extremely valuable for both the university and the students.  Underlining that Burtom has been providing important support to vocational schools and students for many years, Prof. Dr. Sinan Çavun stated that thanks to the cooperation, they will greatly increase young people's internship and professional practice skills.

Health Services Vocational School and Bursa Burtom managers were also present at the signing ceremony of the cooperation protocol in education.
