Second-year Food Technology students had the valuable opportunity to gain insights into quality control processes and the importance of teamwork during their Fruit and Vegetable Products Technology course. As part of this initiative, we hosted Mr. Ömer Burak Toy, Quality Manager of Tat Gıda's Karacabey Plant, who shared his expertise and experiences with our students.
Mr. Toy provided detailed information on critical stages in fruit and vegetable processing, including raw material acceptance, production, and final product quality control processes. He also shared practical approaches to problem-solving and highlighted the significance of individual and team efforts in the industry.
This highly beneficial event allowed students to reinforce their learning with practical examples from real-life business processes, offering them a deeper understanding of the sector.
At the end of the session, Mr. Ömer Burak Toy was presented with a certificate of appreciation by the Head of the Food Technology Program, Lecturer Dr Neşe Özmen, in recognition of his valuable contributions.
