ULUTÖMER Online Turkish Education Program     

ULUTÖMER Online Turkish Education Program is for everyone who wants to learn Turkish online.

REGISTRATION:

a) The fee for each level is  1.900 TL.

b) After payment, "Bank Receipt", "Passport Photocopy" “Address information” and "Whatsapp Number" must be sent to the e-mail address:

Placement Test:

Candidates who have knowledge of Turkish and do not want to start from the first level, A1, are subjected to an online placement test if they wish and they are placed according to the result. The placement test is held on Thursday before the start date of each course. The test is held at 3:00 (Turkey’s time zone). No document is given as a result of this exam.

Acceptance / Registration:

a. Candidates who complete the registration steps are accepted to ULUTÖMER's Online Turkish Teaching courses.

b. Those who want to obtain a student certificate for various reasons must register at least three courses (considering the course durations) in order to receive this certificate.

2. LESSON SCHEDULE

a) A1 level consists of 150 lessons, and A2-B1-B2-C1 levels consist of 120 lessons each.

b) Our trainings are carried out on five weekdays (Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday-Friday) in three different time periods: morning, afternoon and evening.

c) Each course lasts 6 weeks, and the end-of-course exams are held on the 7^th week.

d) The trainees must attend at least 80% of the classes.

The TESTING SYSTEM:

a) At the end of each course, an online final exam will be held for all skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking). The evaluation is based on the scoring system below.

B) In the final exam, the trainee must be successful in four skills and assignments, otherwise he / she will need to repeat the course. Those who succeed in the final exams have the right to move on the higher level.

CERTIFICATION

a) The certificate: Students who successfully complete B2 and C1 courses are entitled to receive certificates. Turkish universities require B2 level for enrollment to undergraduate programs.  C1 level is required for some faculties like medicine and all other graduate programs.

b) At the end of the online education program, students who successfully complete A1, A2 and B1 levels are given an official document stating that they have completed their level. The certificate given at A1 and A2 level is valid for the cases in which the trainee's Turkish level needs to be documented. The document issued at B1 level is sufficient to enroll in some undergraduate programs of various universities in Turkey.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE ONLINE PROGRAM

a) ULUTÖMER Online Turkish Education Program (ULUZEP) has been organized according to the language levels defined in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Learner-centered skills-based system (reading, listening, writing and speaking) has been implemented in a communicative way by our experienced staff. Our courses are structured in 5 levels: A1-A2 (Basic Level), B1-B2 (Intermediate Level) and C1 (Advanced Level).

b) Trainees who want to join a class in ULUTÖMER (ULUZEP) needs to acquire microphones, speakers or headphones, and the Internet connection in order to follow the courses appropriately. During the lessons, the trainees’ cameras should be turned on and the speaker or headset should be attached.

c) Online courses cannot be recorded and shared with someone else without the permission of ULUTÖMER administration.

d) A student who enrolls in ULUTÖMER Online Turkish Education Program (ULUZEP) cannot transfer his / her right for education to anyone else.

e) The fee of the student who registers to ULUTÖMER Online Turkish Education Program (ULUZEP) is not refundable unless there is a problem arising from ULUTÖMER. In case of a situation arising from ULUTÖMER, the fee can be refunded with the decision of the board of directors.

f) Trainees who enroll in one of the two different programs carried out in ULUTÖMER can transfer from the face-to-face education program to the online education program or from the online education program to the face-to-face education program when completing their course only if the education conditions permit (by fulfilling the requirements of the relevant program and if there is a quota). Courses will be held with an online education programs determined by ULUTÖMER.

g) Students who have acquitted certificates from Yunus Emre Institute or other TÖMER courses (Turkish Teaching Centers) within the last four months can be placed in an upper level.

h) Online / face-to-face courses will be started with at least 10 students in ULUTÖMER. With the decision of the Board of Directors, a class can be opened with fewer students.

i) In the ULUTÖMER Online Turkish Education Program (ULUZEP), those who enroll for the first time receive a 10% sibling discount and a 10% group discount in collective enrollments of 10 or more people.

j) In case of institutional application, additional and / or complementary trainings can be provided by ULUTÖMER. ULUTÖMER board of directors' decision is required in all matters such as time, duration and rate regarding the mentioned corporate trainings and discounts to be applied.
