BURSA THEOLOGY FAMILY CONTINUES TO GROW WITH NEW GRADUATES

At the Graduation Ceremony organized by Bursa Uludağ University (BUU) Faculty of Theology Dean's Office, 423 students experienced the joy of graduating.

The 43rd Graduation Ceremony held in the Faculty Garden was attended by BUU Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Saim Kılavuz, Bursa Deputy Refik Özen, Provincial Director of National Education Sabahattin Dülger, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz, representatives of non-governmental organizations, academics, graduate students and their families.

Making a short greeting to the participants, BUÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Saim Guide stated that among the academicians present at the ceremony, he was the only academic who witnessed 43 different graduation ceremonies of the Faculty of Theology. Emphasizing that graduation ceremonies could not be held with the desired enthusiasm during the pandemic process, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Saim Kılavuz said; “The heart wished that we would organize graduation ceremonies with wide participation with all our graduates, their families and academicians. Unfortunately, this has not been possible for 2 years. Hopefully, we will be able to realize this dream in the coming years.” Rector Kılavuz, who underlined in his speech that one of the two professions that directly touches people is theology; “We graduate you with this understanding and equipment. Whatever work you do in your life, work with knowledge and fairness. Do wise deeds. Do not stray from the truth. Good luck to all of you. May Allah be your helper".
