BUÜ's SUCCESS AT TEKNOFEST

The Ulucopter and Vefa Unmanned Aerial Systems teams formed by Bursa Uludağ University (BUÜ) students marked the event with the degrees they received in the Teknofest 2020 UAV Competitions.

The Teknofest 2020 UAV Competitions, which have been organized by TÜBİTAK for 5 years to encourage young people who are devoted to aviation, have been completed. A large number of university and high school students in the Low Altitude, Medium Altitude and High Altitude categories competed to get degrees with the projects they prepared.

The Young Engineers Community Ulucopter Team, established by BUU Engineering Faculty students, succeeded in being the second in the Teknofest 2020 International Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Rotary Wing Category. Competing in the low altitude category, the Vefa Unmanned Systems team reached a height of 5600 feet by firing the rocket they prepared in the competition where 32 teams remained in the final stage. The team succeeded in being third with this rank. The young people, who will receive their awards from President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, at the Presidential Complex next week, expressed their joy and thanked everyone who supported them.

OUR PRIDE AND HAPPINESS INCREASE

Congratulating both teams participating in the contest for the degrees they won, Rector of BUU Prof. Dr. Ahmet Saim Kilavuz said that they are proud of all students and advisors academics.
