THE ACCREDITATION PROCESS IN THE FACULTY OF EDUCATION PROCEEDS WITHOUT PROBLEM

The accreditation process carried out by Bursa Uludağ University (BUÜ) Faculty of Education together with the Association for Teacher Training Programs and Accreditation (EPDAD) is progressing at full speed.

EPDAD accreditation process and the coordination studies to be carried out during the process were discussed in a large meeting in order to ensure the accreditation studies initiated at BUU Faculty of Education. BUU Rector Prof Dr Ahmet Saim Kilavuz, Faculty Dean Prof Dr Salih Çepni, Quality Coordinator Prof Dr Funda Coşkun, faculty managers, department heads, EPDAD managers and academicians attended the meeting where the heads of departments and departments working in the faculty were informed.

Speaking at the program held in Uğur Mumcu Hall, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kılavuz emphasized that he believed that the study carried out would make significant contributions to the university, academicians and students. Dean Prof. Dr. Salih Çepni stated that within the framework of EPDAD accreditation, the education process will be updated and different perspectives can be captured.

The participants were informed about the accreditation process, the accreditation process during the pandemic period, and the reflections of the transfer of authority of YÖK's Education Faculty to the accreditation process by Prof. Dr. Cemil Öztürk, Chairman of the Board of EPDAD. EPDAD Manager Expert Şafak Oğuz made explanations to the participants about the EPDAD Office and faculty coordination during the accreditation process. The program ended with a question and answer session.
