The dream of Bursa Uludağ University (BUÜ) Faculty of Dentistry, which was established about 25 years ago and started its education, research and service activities in the 2020-2021 academic year, to have its own building, which is planned to be built on the campus, is becoming a reality with the support of the philanthropic businessman from Bursa, İbrahim GÜLMEZ.

The Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Dentistry Building Construction Protocol was signed between Bursa Uludağ University Rectorate and Haksan Otomotiv Mamülleri San. ve Tic. Inc. on 23.11.2021 at Bursa Governorship.

İbrahim GÜLMEZ, the business person who serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Haksan Automotive, laid the foundation of the first phase of the Faculty of Dentistry Building, which will consist of 12,500 square meters and 5 blocks in total, consisting of 3 blocks with a total of 7050 square meters, in June 2022.

It is envisaged that our faculty, which carries out its clinical services in T.C. Ministry of Health Bursa Oral and Dental Health Training and Research Hospital, will be moved to its own building in the Görükle Campus to carry out all its activities from 2023-2024 Academic Calendar. Thus, our first students will start their clinical practical training in our building on campus, starting from the 4th year. With the opening of the faculty building in the campus, the difficulties of our students in getting education in different places will be eliminated and a noticeable improvement will be achieved in terms of education, research and service quality in the field of dentistry.

We wish success to all our students who took the 2022 YKS exam and we look forward to our candidate students who will join us by choosing Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Dentistry in the 2022-2023 academic year.
